This is an original Winchester and as it is an 1873 model probably helped win the west? as it is a 38/40 calibre in can probably be taken off of licnce but due to some idiots out there I am not interested in getting that done i would rather sell to a licence holder who could then apply to have the requirements removed but it does come with quite a few empty shell cases and reloading dies (Black Powder only)
Have a piece of history and im willing to look at offers and trade ins for this
I did sell it once and the guy that bought it was not happy with some of the crew heads being a bit chewed up. i did explain that there where not many cowboys who had correct screwdrivers and probably used a Bowie knife to tighten anything, however it is fully working and could be used although as with any old gun id recommend a proof is done for yours and others safety
I am selling as a collectors gun and not a useable gun wtihout a proof
